O Grupo Heubach (“Heubach”), uma produtora líder global de pigmentos, e a SK Capital Partners (“SK Capital”), empresa privada de investimentos com foco nos setores de materiais especiais, produtos químicos e farmacêuticos, anunciaram hoje a conclusão da aquisição do negócio global de colorantes da Clariant (“Clariant Pigments”). A companhia combinada operará sob a marca Heubach, criando uma empresa líder global da indústria e tecnologia de pigmentos.
O recém formado Grupo Heubach é um fornecedor global de soluções abrangentes em cores, oferecendo um amplo portfólio de pigmentos orgânicos, inorgânicos e anticorrosivos, preparações de pigmentos, tinturas, corantes, e materiais de especialidade. A empresa é uma das líderes em tecnologia e qualidade e opera seus negócios globais a partir de 19 fábricas na Europa, Américas, Ásia e África, empregando aproximadamente 3.000 pessoas. A sede do Grupo Heubach será estabelecida em Viena, Áustria.

O Grupo Heubach tem o prazer de anunciar a nomeação de Stefan Doboczky como CEO do Grupo Heubach, assumindo o cargo a partir de 10 de janeiro de 2022. O Sr. Doboczky integra o Grupo Heubach após atuar mais recentemente como CEO da Lenzing AG, uma empresa líder global de fibras celulósicas e produtos bioquímicos. Antes da Lenzing, o Sr. Doboczky foi membro do Conselho Diretivo da Royal DSM, grupo holandês de Ciências da Vida e Ciência de Materiais, no qual esteve quase duas décadas em diversas funções de gestão geral. O Sr. Doboczky possui um PhD em Ciências Naturais pela Universidade Técnica de Viena (Áustria), bem como um MBA pelo IMD de Lausanne (Suíça). Stefan Doboczky comentou o seguinte: “Estou muito empolgado por fazer parte do novo Grupo Heubach. O financiamento comprometido para a transação foi fornecido pela BofA Securities, Citigroup, HSBC, KeyBanc, Citizens, ING e MUFG. A Lenz & Staehelin AG e a Kirkland & Ellis LLP atuaram como consultoras jurídicas para a Heubach e a SK Capital, e a Milbank LLP atuou como consultora jurídica para a Heubach. Por outro lado, a Homburger AG atuou como consultora jurídica da Clariant e o Deutsche Bank AG como consultor financeiro para a Clariant.

This merger combines the strengths of two of the most prestigious color companies in history. The Heubach family began manufacturing decorative glassware in the 14th century and 500 years later, in 1806, opened its first pigment factory, marking the beginning of the company today. Clariant was formed in 1995 as a spin off from the chemical company Sandoz AG and its pigment production dates back to the Pigments businesses of the former Hoechst AG. For more than 150 years both companies have been known for their experience in chemistry, innovation, excellence in pigments and attention to customer service.
